Server Technology to Showcase Data Center Power Solutions for IT, Telecom Industries
Cloud, big data, virtualization, wireless and mobility are all trends that organizations in the IT, data center and telecommunications industry need to pay attention to. In an upcoming event, Server Technology (News - Alert), a provider of data center power management and monitoring solutions, expects to hear, discuss and learn about all five.
Server Technology will be exhibiting at the BICSI (News - Alert) conference and exhibition in Las Vegas Sept. 15-19, to provide attendees with educational presentations, product showcases and networking opportunities.
“We’ve exhibited at BICSI shows for years. BICSI attracts a different audience than many of our other tradeshows – data center and IT electrical engineers, contractors, architects, designers – as well as the IT and data center professionals,” said Erik Stabile, integrated marketing specialist, Server Technology. “The whole conference is based on best practices for the IT systems industry. So, it’s a chance for us to reach out to a broader audience and focus, introducing them to Server Technology and why we have the world’s most reliable data center PDUs and power management and monitoring software. It’s a chance for us to get in on the ground floor with data center contractors and solve their power needs early for the projects that they are working on.”
Besides IT and data centers professionals, BICSI also has a focus on the telecom industry. Server Tech has an entire line of -48V products and solutions designed just for telecommunications. Its -48V PDUs are designed for remote management, allowing operators to cycle their power (on/off/reboot) when their equipment goes down.
Server Technology will be showcasing its different families of PDUs as well as some of its new innovations, including the PDU Power Pivot, the ProGrade 42, its new alternating phase technology and its new color PDUs. It will also be demonstrating Sentry Power Manager (SPM), the company’s power monitoring, power measurement software designed just for data centers.
“Server Technology is the known Power Strategy Expert when it comes to data centers – we know how to help data center customers reach their goals – whether it’s energy efficiency, green IT, controlling power costs, reducing downtime or capacity planning,” Stabile said.
